| 300 meter Swim/1 mile Run 750 meter Swim/5K Run 1500 meter Swim/10K Run Swim takes place in Lake Lewisville in a protected cove at Hidden Cove Park. The run course is FLAT! Paved roads, out and back looped course. Aid stations will be located every mile on the run course, and will be stocked with water and Powerade. The course officially closes at 11am for all participants. All participants must observe all cut-off times and USAT rules and regulations. Failure to meet cut-off times will result in disqualification and removal from the course. |

| A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Colony Fire Department. Average temperature on race day: low 70 - high 85. Water temperature could be wetsuit legal. USAT Wetsuit rules will apply - participants allowed to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit. For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes. This is a chip timed event. Each participant will be required to wear a timing chip in order to be counted in the results. Timing chips are assigned to participants according to bib number. Please pick up your timing chip the morning of the race at the chip timing station beginning an hour before race start. ALL TIMING CHIPS SHOULD BE RETURNED AFTER YOU CROSS THE FINISH LINE. A $30.00 fee will be charged to the participant if the timing chip is not returned. Awards are based on chip times. |

| Overall Male and Female winners in each category. First place Age Group winners in each category. Every participant who registers by April 15th is guaranteed a race t-shirt and goodie bag. |

| USAT Membership required | ||
| The Playtri Splash and Dash is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase a one day permit for $12 at packet pick up. Do not send USAT permit fee with entry fee. All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyone's packet (only exception is for participants 17 and under). If you are an annual USAT member and do not bring your member card to packet pick up, you must buy a $12 one day membership. |
