| Sprint: 500 meter swim - 12 mile bike (2 loops) - 5k run My First Tri: 300 meter swim - 6 mile bike (1 loop) - 2mi run Course Notes: The swim is in a small, man-made lake. NO SWIMMING IN LAKE ALLOWED PRIOR TO RACE DAY!! The bike is on nice concrete urban roads. The course is slightly hilly but fast. Each major intersection and turn around will be traffic controlled with directional assistance. The run course is moderately hilly. Aid stations will be located approximately every 1 mile. Each aid station is equipped with water and Powerade. The course officially closes at 11am for all participants. All participants must observe all cut-off times and USAT rules and regulations. Failure to meet cut-off times will result in disqualification and removal from the course. |

| PLEASE NOTE: Race day packet pickup is only available for an additional $20 fee TO BE PAID on-site race morning, cash or check only, no credit cards. Thank you for your cooperation. There is no race day registration. Note: No refunds given to those participants who have not picked up their packets. This is a chip-timed event. Chip timing provided by Run-Far Racing Services. Support Many volunteers from numerous North Texas civic organizations are committed to make your race a safe and memorable experience. Weather / Water Temp Average temperature on race day: low 70 - high 85. Water temperature could be wetsuit legal. USAT Wetsuit rules will apply - participants allowed to wear a wet suit without penalty in any event sanctioned by USA Triathlon up to and including a water temperature of 78 degrees Fahrenheit. When the water temperature is greater than 78 degrees, but less than 84 degrees Fahrenheit, age group participants may wear a wet suit at their own discretion, provided however that participants who wear a wet suit within this temperature range shall not be eligible for prizes or awards. Age group participants shall not wear wet suits in water temperatures equal to or greater than 84 degrees Fahrenheit. For safety reasons, Playtri Racing reserves the right to modify or cancel a race due to severe weather conditions. When severe weather is present, all precautions will be made to ensure the safety of the athletes. |

| Awards & Amenities | ||
| Sprint Distance Open Wave - Top 3 Overall Open Male and Female. Open Wave is not eligible for Age Group awards. Age Group Top Overall Masters and Grand Masters male and female. Age Group / Weight Class awards will be 3 deep for both Male and Female. Relay Team awards will be for top 3 overall relays. My First Tri All finishers of the My First Tri will receive a finisher's medal. No awards for My First Tri. |

| USAT Membership required | ||
| The Playtri King Tut Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a current annual member of USAT or purchase a one day permit for $12 at packet pick up. Do not send USAT permit fee with entry fee. All established USAT rules will be in effect and will be strictly enforced. You must show your USAT member card and your photo ID at packet pick up - no exceptions. Friends and family will not be allowed to pick up anyoneԳ packet. If you are an annual USAT member and do not bring your member card to packet pick up, you must buy a $12 one day membership. |
