| Description |
The ATLAS Ride starts in Cedar Park (north of Austin) and ends at the Pillar Bluff Vineyard in Lampasas, TX.
This ride includes options of 25, 50 or 70 mile routes of amazing views, gently rolling hills, Texas wildlife, and ends at the beautiful Pillar Bluff Vineyard! Once riders arrive at the finish, they will be treated to free food, drinks and beer. In addition to the tasty food and beer, the winery will also offer wine tastings. Riders have the option of arranging a ride back to the start or signing up for a bus ride back to the start area.

In doing the ATLAS Ride, not only will cyclists have the opportunity to participate in a scenic ride, but they will also be joining the 2012 LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 team for the first day of their 70-day, 4000+ mile journey to Alaska...and in their fight against cancer!
Each year the LIVESTRONG Texas 4000 team raises money to help find a cure for cancer by riding their bikes from Austin to Alaska. The ATLAS rides serves as a fundraiser for their efforts as well seeing them off on their summer-long journey. |
| Transportation |
| Cyclists signing up for the 50 & 70 Mile route will need to arrange for transportation back to the start. Buses will be provided at the finish to shuttle participants back to Cedar Park for a fee of $20. You are encouraged to purchase a bus pass when you register for the ride (if you'll need it). If any seats are available during packet pickup or on ride day, passes may be purchased then.
Cyclist riding the 25 mile route will start and finish in Lampasas at the winery.
